How Greenr Offsets are used and allocated

We are committed to the environment and making sure that the planet is protected for future generations and other species. Greenr are a social enterprise and are commited to responsible business and ensuring all our revenues and profits are used for our central goal. In the interests of full transparency, this page details how the money we collect from carbon offsets is used.

Operating Costs

Greenr take a 5% commission from each offset sold. This is a fixed fee and will not change. This means for every £1 purchased, 95p will go directly to offset programmes. The 5% is used to cover operating costs such as cloud hosting, app development and staff costs.

Fund Allocation

Each time we purchase an offset, we receive a proof of donation. Greenr vets their programmes thoroughly before choosing them and regularly audit them to ensure that they are using the carbon offset funds correctly.
